Family Time| San Diego lifestyle photography

Last weekend I had the opportunity and the pleasure of photographing a family event for a friend of mine.  One of his daughters does not live in California and she was down visiting for a few weeks.   There are no pictures of my friend and his three girls all together, so we took this opportunity to get some great ones for him.  They had a little family get together and my dad and I joined and photographed the event.  It was really a great time.  I enjoyed getting to know his family and his beautiful daughters, I am so glad that I was able to capture some great moments between them all.  Enjoy!:)

Hahaha!  This next series was so funny!  And probably my favorite of them all:)

Cassie|Senior Photography

This post is going to be picture heavy because I had SO many favorites of this beautiful Senior!!  This was our second try at getting her Senior pictures done, the first date had to be cancelled because of unforseen circumstances, but we managed to find time to get together.  Cassie lives up in El Centro, and I am so happy and extremely honored that she, along with her father, made the drive down to me.  I had a blast, and I can’t wait to share the pictures!!  Here ya go Cassie!:)

Nichole and Dan|San Diego Wedding Photography

I don’t usually do weddings, as a matter of fact, I have never done a wedding, but when my long time friend/hairdresser Nichole Martin asked me to photograph her wedding I decided to give it a try:)  Nichole and Dan have been best friends for years, since High School, but about 3 years ago, the friendship turned into more than that.  They are so cute together!  You can really feel and see the love that they have for each other. The wedding went great and turned out beautiful!  I hope that they enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!   Feedback is always welcome, especially on this post, since it was my first, and hopefully not last, wedding;)   Congrats to you both Nichole and Dan! xoxoxo

All Grown Up

I can’t believe my little niece is 12 years old!!  She’s not so little anymore:(   When Allysa was younger my dad and I would take her out and do little fun photo shoots with her just because. She loved them and we always had so much fun.  It’s been a very long time since I’ve had a shoot with my niece. It’s no excuse, but it’s just that life gets in the way, my sister has had three kids since Allysa. I don’t get to see Allysa as much as I would like to, she’s grown up, and shes involved in sports, and school, and time just gets away from us. A few weeks ago while she was on spring break from school we decided that it was time for a shoot!  We had a really fun time, my dad and I took her to the studio to play around with the lighting set we just got and are still learning, and then we went up to Mt. Helix for a few shots, which was freezing by the way.   I can’t believe how grown up she looks in these pictures and it just reminds me that I need to make more time for her, shes growing up way to fast, and I’m not a fan. I hope you had as much fun as I did during this shoot baby girl. I love you always!!

Lys found these ladybugs and called me over. There were tons of them! I’ve always liked ladybugs:)

Stephen F. Austin State University| Invitation Design

I had the honor of doing some graduation invitations for two wonderful girls who are graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University.  Their photographer Kayla is a friend of mine who I have worked with before. Last year I did graduation invitations for Kayla and a few of her clients, so when Kayla did the senior photos for Jenna and Ashley who are graduating this year, she sent them my way for Invitations.:)  Congratulations on graduating girls!!! xoxo

Here is the lovely Jenna:)

And the Beautiful Ashley:)
